I have paid drastically less for middle eastern fragrances and they have been ten times better, both in strength and quality. Okay - a little cheesy, but this is honestly how transcendent YSL's juice is to me. I first smelled this and was absolutely in love with the intoxicatingly rich and spicy cardamom - a note that I am already very fond of and I think this bottle has used it masterfully! However, as singular as the nose is at first, it warms into a heart of gorgeous lavender (fresh, not dried) that is blended harmoniously with warm citrus (bergamot), which also lifts the accord and giving it a breeze of fresh air. The cedar is not overly used or dusty - on the contrary - this is very rich and damp cedar. The olfactory pleasure continues into the dry down with a nice fresh vetiver accord that is not overly "rooty" or earthy. A slightly sharp, but also clean vetiver that melds with the cedar and lavender with the cardamom carrying through the whole composition. This turns, on my skin (nothing short of amazing) slightly sweet, powdery blend of warm notes that just seem to breathe on my skin! That is coumarin in the base...and it is used in perfect balance here. A word of caution...don't over-apply. But, feel free to wear a fair amount as this is not overly 'loud'.

As many have already written, the performance is its main flaw, the longevity reaches about 6 hours and the sillage is intimate, so its appropriate use is probably for romantic dates. I layered with le parfum version and it’s bloody lovely. Lasts for about 5 to 6 hours but adds that extra spice to it. I love leather fragrances, and I love the LNDL line, so by proxy I love the scent of this fragrance. However, the weak performance leaves me disappointed. If I had paid full retail for this bottle, I'd honestly be upset. I feel a YSL fragrance, at EDP concentration no less, should be giving better performance than this. It's a beautiful fragrance, but as much as it pains me to say, it's not worth the money. If you want LNDL, just go for the EDT or pony up the dough for Bleu Electrique IF you can find it.

Green apple, pink grapefruit, and Bergamot are the three ingredients that make up the top note of this alluring fragrance. Because of these components, the scent has traces of citruses that are delicious and fresh yet creamy and spicy. For a time, La Nuit is quite powdery and has a really attractive aroma, as it dries down. I like the opening of this scent, but the dry down is fantastic. It has an average lifespan compared to its original without causing any disappointments. Its scent lingers on the skin for over 5-6 hours, becoming increasingly fresher and more robust with time, and may spread across the entire area. Trussardi Riflesso Feel the freshness of bergamot on your skin with trussardi riflesso. I find this has a lot of the typical 'La nuit...' DNA and although I may be imagining things reminds me of either (or both?) Burberry Brit Rhythm/Brit Rhythm Intense and I think it's not only due to the strong leather notes (they do share several other notes-, cardamom, patchouli, lavender, tonka...). Synthetic Rum (Pink Bubble Gum) + synthetic Orange + Caramelized Sugar + synthetic Cinnamon + Strong Leather + smoky Incense + strong sweet Tonka + hint of Tabaco + Ginger + Indian Cardamom + powdery Lavender + Lemon/Grapefruit + Bergamot + Benzoin (aromatic acidic Cherry note) + dry grassroot Vetiver + White Vanillin + Caraway Seed + Brown Musk + Cedarwood + hint of green cooling Cypress

Not one of those nose-blasters, wherein one walks by you and you can taste the top, middle and base notes in your mouth. I utterly appreciate the fact that it sits close to the skin, rather than announce its arrival with a huge 'LOOK AT ME! I HAVE ARRIVED!!' I think many people forget that fragrance is not just for yourself but also to please those around you. It is almost uncivic-minded in certain asian countries to intrude onto others' senses, so this is where I am coming from. the new edp is the less mediocre of the flakers i mentioned before. it's a safe, good smelling fragrance without any personality or creativity. i hope it will be discontinued as soon as possible with the other flankers. like i said, the best from the line are the original(even in the last formula) and the frozen cologne(sadly out of production). The face of the campaign is model Vinnie Woolston. The distinctive bottle of the line is refreshed by the blue perfume liquid. The fragrance is available as a 40, 60 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. Armaf Derby Club House Gold EDT is a good, delectable, sweet, tonka, fruity, apple, woody, and spicy fragrance.seeing as i live in quite a poor country the price of this YSL is quite high but i do not regret getting it, the scent is fab, but as one user wrote the performance of this frag is simply offensive, why did YSL do this to this lovely frag i do not know?! The longevity of this fragrance is above average, and you can expect a lifespan of seven to eight hours straight. However, this fragrance requires one to three puffs to sustain you through an average workday. This will be the 4th one... 3rd If you don't count the Parfum which was not great but okay, The Frozen one which I quite liked and the L'Intense which was pretty poor... I'll give you that.
