1. General
Points
Sealed Knot events vary in
size and nature from small Regimental displays, using the
particular skills of our members, to large battle
re-enactments with 2000+ combatants with additional cannons,
and groups of horsemen.
Surprisingly, the incidents
of major injury are extremely rare and usually combatants
can expect, if any, very few injuries of a very minor nature
i.e grazes, cuts, bruises, twists or
sprains.
Health and Safety
issues are always held as extremely important on or
off the battlefield.
This is an active 'sport' however
and can be considered to be on a par with on
piste-skiing.
It is true to say that
this activity is pursued by people of varying age, sex,
physical build and fitness.

Personnel ARE allowed to wear
spectacles/hearing aids on the battlefield provided they are
inconspicuous.
Personnel are NOT allowed
to bring camers or MP3 players onto the

Pink doublets.
Personnel on the
battlefield MUST follow IMMEDIATELY and WITHOUT QUESTION the
orders of superiors in order to ensure their
own safety and the safety of others.
Personnel on the
battlefield must remain aware at all times of personnel
around them and must endeavour to remain with their regiment
at all times.
