An English Civil War Re-Enactment Regiment in The Sealed Knot

Welcome to the web site of Prince Rupert's Blew Regiment of Foote. Ours is one of the oldest regiments in the Sealed Knot Society and comes with a lot of history and tradition, both then and now. We pride ourselves on our appearance, drill and hard but fair fighting and we are always on the look out for new recruits to carry the fight to Parliament.

The following pages contain all that you need to familiarise yourself with the regiment and the society. As well as details on uniforms, arms etc you will also find descriptions of other identities that we portray to fight the Civil War in Scotland and quell the rebellion of 1685 in the West Country.

I hope you find our website informative and it encourages you to join, enabling you to wear the legendary Bluecoat. If you do you will be most welcome and I look forward to meeting you at one of our events soon.

For the King and his most gracious nephew Prince Rupert
